|LOCATION||Ingelton Waterfall, Yorkshire|
|TIME||10:00 to 16:00|
Landscapes containing waterfalls are a huge favourite for many aspiring landscape photographers. However there are challenges in creatively capturing movement in the water and finding ideal spots for arresting images. Our ‘Waterfall Photography Workshop’ at Ingleton, offers the perfect opportunity to not only discover some picturesque settings but also have the advice and support of a highly experienced professional photography guide.
During the day we will walk about 1.5 miles up the trail to the spectacular falls at Thornton Force. After which we will slowly walk back down the valley trail looking at Pecca Falls, Pecca Glen, Manor Bridge and Swilla Glen. These beautiful locations offer a wide variety of photography opportunities and the Wild Arena guide will assist everyone to get the images they are looking for.
The day is fully inclusive of admission to the trail and the guide will take particular time explaining capturing motion blur and movement in the water by using of tripods and neutral density filters. As with all of our landscape photography workshops, we will ensure everyone gets individual attention to help develop their personal photography by having small group sizes and plenty of time for constructive discussions. Other photography topics covered on these sessions might include: Compositional ideas (the rule of thirds, lead in lines, shapes in the frame, the focus of the image, perspective and simplicity), the use of tripods, practical application of filters for landscapes, using shutters speeds creatively for the inclusion of movement and creative use of apertures to control depth of field.
